Broadband Baluns

HYPERLABS broadband baluns offer unrivaled bandwidth, amplitude and phase match, and price-for-performance in microwave and RF applications. These baluns convert an unbalanced 50 ohm signal to a precision-balanced differential signal. They can also be used as high-precision signal combiners (differential to single-ended) that minimize harmonic distortion. All our baluns are designed for applications in high-speed analog-to-digital conversion, signal generation, and pulse inversion, connectorized or SMT.

HYPERLABS broadband pulse inverters are used to invert the polarity of electrical signals, preserving amplitude within 2 dB up to 20 GHz. These components are also available in a surface mount (SMT) configuration.

 

 

DC Bias Tees

Broadband DC Bias Tees from HYPERLABS allow application engineers to insert DC bias current into a circuit with minimal perturbation of the impedance of 50 ohm transmission lines. These components can be matched for use with HYPERLABS baluns, preserving the matching of the rest of the system.

 

 

DC Block Capacitors

DC Block Capacitors from HYPERLABS separate the DC biasing of circuit and devices in a resonance-free 50 ohm controlled impedance environment.

 

 

Pulse Formers

HYPERLABS pulse formers take an input signal with a fast rise time and form it into rectangular waveforms with specific, well-known pulse widths between 50 ps and 1 ns.  Some of these components are available in a surface mount (SMT) configuration.

 

 

Samplers / Harmonic Mixers

HYPERLABS samplers / harmonic mixers offer industry-leading linearity flatness and bandwidth up to 20 GHz. LO Input Frequency on these components is tested up to 2.5 GHz, and the sample rate is tested to 2.5 Gsps.
